About
Founded by Kurt and Heidi Krause, who were brought together by God‘s will and their love for creativity, specifically as it pertains to the visual mediums: photography, filmmaking, theatrics, and anything creative under the sun, Aurora Images is more than just company to them; it is their shared passion realized. Together, Kurt and Heidi have participated in and produced several local independent film projects, as well as a few podcasts, including their well received science fiction/comedy, the Adventures of Nickels and Spud. They often joke about the fact that they must seem like perpetual tourists because they always have cameras in their hands, and when they go somewhere, they don’t just experience it; they conquer it. That is, they photograph everything. And that’s exactly the passion and process they use when they capture moments on camera for folks who hire them as their photographers. What that means is that they are not happy unless their customers are happy. So, they prefer having their clients be a part of the process, bringing ideas that they can incorporate. It is a preference for them if they can interview and get to know their clients—who they are, what they like and what they hope to capture. Kurt and Heidi are family oriented, having children of their own. So, they not only specialize in family friendly photography; they pride themselves in capturing family memories. Whatever the case, they keep everything PG Rated. They do not allow for images that can’t be shared with the whole family, especially grandma. The bottom line is, they thrive on the happy tears that follow satisfied customers. That’s their goal. That’s their promise.
